I have stumbled across a great Facebook page, Spoonfed: Raising kids to think about the food they eat and I wanted to share it with you. Lunches can get hard or just plan boring to pack at our house. But by following Christina Le Beau, Spoonfed, I am inspired daily by her wonderful creative images of her daughter's lunch. Her Planet Box lunches are awe-inspiring combinations of healthy yummy food with details on the contents. For example, I pulled this blurb from Chris's FB post:
Lunch report: kiwi; popcorn (with olive oil and salt) and raisins; carrots and red peppers; a Hail Merry cocoa macaroon (in the middle); and a bean salad made with chickpeas, sunflower seeds, Parmesan cheese and balsamic dressing. I usually soak/sprout dry chickpeas, but these are canned ones from Eden Organic (BPA-free cans).
Thanks Chris for your wonderful work! Feel free to check out her blog, Spoonfed too,
