This weekend, I took Luca and Sophie up to the Horseshoe Lodge at the Mountain Park Environmental Center and we spent the night there. We walked to the pond, played on the old 1950s playground, rocked on chairs, read books, had tea and hot chocolate and played board games. So perfect. Everytime we go up there, Luca has been asking me if we can stay. So I just did it and I'm so glad I did. We left Pueblo at 5pm, after a day full of soccer games, packed a picnic and had the most beautiful evening outside in the woods. Just 20 minutes outside of Pueblo, I consider this a mini-stayvacation.
